Our Founder’s Journey"

I'm Razwana, a mum of four, and my youngest daughter was diagnosed with autism at age three. The journey to diagnosis was a battle in itself and the support we hoped for after was simply not there. We quickly realised that if our daughter was to thrive, we had to take the lead. After years of research and advocacy, we created a fully tailored EOTAS (Education Otherwise Than At School) programme at home, where I’ve been managing her education for the past 10 years.

Raising four children each unique taught us that no one fights harder than a parent who understands their child. When professionals didn’t listen, we pushed forward. This journey has been both challenging and deeply rewarding, and it’s shaped my mission: to help other families feel empowered, supported, and never alone.

In the midst of our challenges, we learned a powerful truth: parents must lead the way. While professionals can support, it’s up to us to advocate for our child especially when the system doesn’t see their full potential. We chose not to wait. Instead, we took control, driven by love, determination, and deep understanding. I taught myself everything from speech and communication to teaching a nonverbal child to read and do maths because I believed in what others didn’t: that my daughter could thrive just like her peers.

Recognising that no parent should face this journey alone, we chose to turn our challenges into support for others. For over 10 years, we've volunteered, offered guidance, and shared practical advice with families navigating autism because we understand the isolation and uncertainty it brings. We've worked with Warwick and Birmingham Universities on autism research and early interventions, and every small victory whether a new word, a skill gained, or a moment of connection reminds us why this work matters. Our mission is to build a supportive community where families feel empowered, and are better equipped to help their child thrive.
